Christian Tabernacle took our church to the streets on Sunday, October 26th, 2008. God showed us what He
can do outside of the four walls of our building - over 450 people were in attendance. Many were touched by God
and He moved in a mighty way in the community of Holiday Lakes.
Since this original event, Christian Tabernacle has assisted other churches in their own Block Parties. One such event for Turning
Point of Galveston (pastored by Rev. Shawn Plant) reached over 1,500 people that were in attendance. Turning Point's first
service was held the following Sunday and had over 200 people in attendance. Many were baptized in Jesus' name and received
the Holy Ghost! To God be the glory!!!
Christian Tabernacle is participating in the South Texas District's revival crusade, Texas Ablaze!
Become a part of this revival crusade that includes EQUIP Seminars designed to empower the local churches to see immediate growth through practical training, which
then evolves into ACTIVATE Crusades wherein these local churches collectively converge for massive soulwinning efforts in their metro areas. This is topped off by
evangelistic saturation with revivals all across our state!
